Become a Catalyst for Compassion – Join the Applied Animal Advocacy Program

India’s animal protection movement urgently needs trained, passionate individuals who can undertake meaningful interventions. The Program is designed to build a network of effective animal advocates who work to strengthen the implementation of animal welfare laws.

Participants are intensively trained in the legal and policy framework governing animal welfare in India. The program equips them to support and enhance the functioning of systemic institutions such as State Animal Welfare Boards, SPCAs, Slaughterhouse Monitoring Committees, ABC Monitoring Committees, and more. Participants are also encouraged to pursue advocacy initiatives aligned with their individual strengths and interests.

India, with its unique cultural traditions and rich biodiversity, faces both opportunities and complex challenges—from factory farming to increasing human-animal conflict and lack of access to veterinary care. Despite a legacy of animal reverence, enforcement of welfare laws remains weak and public awareness is low. Bridging these gaps requires skilled individuals committed to advancing legal, policy, and systemic reforms.

The Program empowers individuals with comprehensive knowledge of animal rights, ethical frameworks, and advocacy strategies to drive sustainable change. It is ideal for those seeking to contribute meaningfully to the welfare and rights of animals without disrupting their current professional lives—the program is structured to accommodate weekend participation.

If you’re passionate about animal protection and ready to make a tangible impact, apply today and join a community of changemakers working toward a more compassionate future.
